Centre For High Technology sponsors research projects in the field of Petroleum Refining, Gas Processing, Transportation, storage and handling of Crude Oil and Petroleum products.
The proposals received from R&D and academic institutions after review by Scientific Advisory Committee on Hydrocarbon of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas are recommended to Advisory Committee of CHT. The proposals up to Rs 100 Lakhs recommended by Advisory Committee are approved by Executive Committee of CHT. The proposals above Rs 100 Lakhs are approved by the Governing Council of CHT.
